Centre Lathe Turner, Temporary
Wellingborough, Northants

Our client requires a skilled and qualified Turner familiar with setting and operating an XYZ Proturn Protrak centre lathe. This is predominately a manual machine with some CNC control work required.

It is essential that candidates should be in good health and physically fit with good mobility.

Additional requirements:

• Must be a good timekeeper
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and terminology
• Must have good communication skills and be a team player
• Must be an experienced and qualified Turner, preferably time-served

Some training will be given on the CNC controls and it is desirable that the candidate has some prior knowledge of this.

This is a temporary job but may become permanent for the right candidate.

Pay rate is from £8.50 per hour, depending on experience.
