Our client is looking for an experienced engineer to join their progressive and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough and extensive knowledge of the gundrilling process, gundrilling machinery and all related tooling. They will be eager to take charge of the company's gundrilling section and be responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable running of the department including implementing best practice, machinery improvements and overhauls, recommending investment strategies and training junior and other personnel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, running and maximising the efficiency of the gundrilling machines and their capacities. Quality and productivity of the highest standard is required. However, as a company, our client is willing to invest, adapt and change in order to ensure you can achieve this.

The position is full-time and permanent and an immediate start is available.

The working week is Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a total break of 50 minutes. This can be taken to suit the employee as long as current legislation is met.

Holidays are 20 days plus Bank Holidays. The company requests that three days are reserved to ensure a full Christmas shutdown, however, the company usually contributes an extra day or two in order to achieve a full shutdown from the 23rd of December to the 3rd of January.
