Lead Engineer (Test Technology), Permanent
Darlington, Co. Durham

Our client requires a Test Technology Lead Engineer at their Darlington site.

You will provide direct leadership to the test facility team interpreting diesel engine emissions legislation in to test cell control and measurement systems.

You will lead engine test cell and test facility maintenance and upgrades to national standards, provide technical leadership and expertise in the use of test equipment to the engine development teams, initiate and lead problem solving and improvement initiatives within engine test facility ensuring 24 hours, 7 days a week operation.

You will possess a degree in electrical/electronic, mechanical or mechatronic’s engineering based subjects.

Demonstrable experience of Six Sigma is also a requirement.

Salary negotiable, depending on experience.
